No Agenda Today - Just A Note.
{{first_name}},
This is the final newsletter of 2025.
I didn’t start this year with some grand plan for how often I’d write or how long I’d keep it going. I just wanted a simple, consistent way to show up, share what I was seeing, and stay connected without yelling into the social media void.
Some weeks were easy.
Some weeks were… written later than I planned.
But week after week, showing up proved to matter more than perfection ever will.
What 2025 reinforced
A few things this year reminded me (sometimes gently, sometimes aggressively):
The market is never “normal” — and that’s okay
Good information still cuts through the noise
People don’t want hype, they want clarity
Trust is built slowly… and lost quickly
And maybe the biggest one: consistency compounds, even when it feels quiet.
It was also a reminder that impact isn’t just measured in sales — together, we helped provide meals for 5,000+ people right here in Lake County through Feeding America, which I’m incredibly proud of. Watch Here.
Turning the page to 2026
Next year, I’m doubling down on:
Clear market commentary (no spin, no panic)
Fewer emails that say more
More video + visual explainers
More local insight you can actually use
Same goal as always: help you feel informed, not overwhelmed.
One quick thank you
If you read every week or just pop in occasionally — thank you.
If you’ve replied, forwarded one, or quietly followed along — thank you.
This only works because real people are on the other side of it.
I’ll be back in January with fresh perspective, fresh data, and the same commitment to keep this useful, honest, and human.
Until then — enjoy the slowdown, the chaos, the cookies, and whatever version of rest you can find.
See you in 2026,
~ Michael
The Private List
Coming Soon
Two homes currently available off-market or quietly circulating before broader exposure:
912 Highgate Ln, Grayslake — A well-located home in an established neighborhood, ideal for buyers looking for space, privacy, and a smoother path without the noise of the open market.
225 Walker Pl, Mundelein — A strong option for buyers who value convenience, solid layout, and the opportunity to move early before competition ramps up.
If one of these catches your eye — or if you’d like access to homes before they officially hit the market — just reply “Private List” and I’ll share details.
